Owner and designer Sharon Heiden specialises in creating unique one of a kind garments for the client who desires individual style, beautiful fabrics and design details, together with a perfect fit, for your special occasions.

Having costumed over 100 shows her love of designing and making is now reflected in her Dress design business Sewfistication, at Viables Craft Centre,where she creates bespoke garments for her clients, and offers Dressmaking classes and Workshops plus private one to one tuition.

Where it all began…

Sharon learnt to sew at a very young age and has continued her love and passion of the craft throughout her career, bringing over forty years of experience to Sewfistication. After completing her training in Fashion Design and Patternmaking she worked for two Dress Design companies in the USA before becoming involved in the world of theatre. Her ability to design and make one off costumes for theatre productions, theme parks and toy shops subsequently led to managing theatre wardrobe departments on both sides of the Atlantic.
