About us
Established 2015, Cake the Biscuit began as a dream and a hobby. Cake the Biscuit is a warm and welcoming cake shop in the heart of Basingstoke, founded by Maxine, a passionate baker who turned her love for cake making into a thriving business.
What began as creating birthday cakes for her children and family grew into something much bigger, as happy customers kept returning for more.
With creativity at the centre of everything she does, Maxine takes pride in designing cakes that not only look beautiful but also make each celebration extra special.
Chasing the dream
Maxine’s journey hasn’t just been about baking—it’s been about following her passion and making her dream a reality. From opening her very own shop in April 2018, to being part of the Be Kind movement through fundraising cupcakes that raised hundreds for mental health charities, she’s proud of what Cake the Biscuit has achieved so far.
Attending cake shows, learning new techniques, and creating hundreds of unique cakes have all been part of the adventure. Looking ahead, Maxine’s goal is to keep growing her business, sharing her love of cake design, and inspiring others to chase their own dreams—because Cake the Biscuit is proof that passion and determination can turn a dream into reality.
