The community centre office is open between 9 and 3 weekdays and the centre itself is open most of the day and evening depending on when classes, activities and events are taking place.

Viables Community Centre is a small registered charity run by Viables Community Association (CIO). We have been serving the community since 2004 and are proud of the services we are able to provide for people with dementia, those with additional needs, and for the community as a whole. We do not receive government funding and rely solely on our own trading, hiring of the building’s facilities and on fundraising efforts

Going the extra mile

This year, our efforts focused on supporting the most vulnerable people in our community while the building was closed due to the pandemic, for which we received a Place to be Proud of award and special thanks as individuals and as a centre from the Mayor of Basingstoke, and we are pleased to have reopened safely.
